Default Useless quest items?

Do you think it's still worth hanging onto useless quest items at this point in the game or am I just wasting (an ever increasing amount of) storage? I'm talking about such items as:
  • Preserved Red Iris Flower
  • Branch of Juni Berries
  • Tapestry Shroud or Red Cape
  • Gwen's Broken Flute
Any others? Maybe I should buy the pre-order for the extra mule just to house this stuff.

Those two items in post searing are used to give to Gwen's Mother in the UnderWorld. The others I have used before for a similar quest... looking at Wiki now...

You may not need them...ever. But there is, without a doubt, someone in this game that has collected every quest item there is. I have a Guildie who has a stack of Red Iris Flowers.

Your correct I was thinking of something else. Good thing I looked at Wiki, the most awkward item on the list is the item in Elona then, Preserved Red Iris Flower. I could have sworn these were given to Sarah but.. I guess not.

All of them are "joke items", making fun out of some things that happened.
You can buy gwen a cape in presearing - you find a tattered girls cape after the searing
You can buy her a flute - you find a broken one
You can give her flowers - you find a preserved one in Elona

All making fuzz about that nobody knows what happened to gwen.

Just about the juniper beeries I'm not sure, is that a joke regarding the "joe quest" in beacons perch?

Just look up the item in wiki before you throw it out. I once threw out items without thinking twice - wound up throwing out several birthday presents before knowing what they were, thinking they were a leftover quest item. Doh!

Actually, in a recent in-game chat, didn't Gaile mention that the Gwen quest arc was going to be completed soon?

I've kept the items on all my characters that received them, not going to "throw" them away after I have had them 20 months already. Dood...

I still got two tapestry shreds sitting on one of my characters. I would have 3 but I forgot to get one when I did pre-searing on my warrior.

At least they could make them all stack. I have 2 tapestry shreds that don't stack with another 3 tapestry shreds for some reason....
